The staff are courteous, room we had was large, well appointed ameneties. Compaired to other hotels we have stayed in this was good value. I suppose its mid range in price, very satisfied, However its typical as far as location goes in manila. lots of beggars, dirty crowded streets, but 2 mins walk to robbinson mall, I am very happy with my choice this time.

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff (haven't found a hotel in Manila with unfriendly staff yet!). The rooms were comfortable and everything was well stocked. Only stayed overnight so did not get too see much, but the free breakfast was very good, especially the made to order omelettes!

near shopping mall (Robinsons), night market right outside of the hotel, wifi connection in rooms, transportation easily accessible

Stayed for 4 nights at the hotel, good hospitality, our room's sewage system gave way, housekeeping came to fix it each time it gave way, it would be great if the hotel management can change into another room for us instead of fixing it each time the problem occurs. Requested for the reception to help make a call to a local number but was rejected as they claim they can't make calls on behalf. would be great if such service is offered as of other hotel's I've been to before, customers don't mind paying as long as the service is good.

Shopping Tip: Divisoria area has cheap shoppings.

We are 2 adults and 1 baby, so we searched for an avarage cost hotel which allow us to bring baby for free. Hotel offered a room with bed for 2, baby stay for free if using same bed. That's good, but the room was too small even for 2. Bathroom was a bit old, would need a rennovation. Breakfast was included, not bad, and possibility to eat your meal on the rooftop of the hotel.

Town center is 20 minutes walking away, or just 5 minutes by local transportation. Very close to local market.

The Kimberly Hotel is my favorite hotel in Manila. It is a little rough around the edges, but the staff here make the stay that much more enjoyable. Everyone that works here from the security man at the front door, the ladies at reception, the chef that cooks your breakfast and the wait staff that serve you, the cleaners and even the maintenance man all make you feel welcome. They make me feel like i am at home and they are my family. Everyone has a smile and they all do what they can to make you comfortable. The level of service here is 5 star, the hotel itself is 3 star, but, value for money, you won't find any better. I will continue to stay at the Kimberly while i am in Manila because of the staff. The management should be very proud of them all.

This hotel was recommended by the University administration across the street. Since I had business with them, it was very convenient for me, and close to all the places I wanted to see and go to. Malls, and museums as well as eating places were walking distance, or just a taxi ride away. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here as a quiet, private business hotel. Depending on the hour of the day, the street outside is teeming with people, and vendors. At times, the street is occupied by street vendors, like the night markets of Bangkok. Be careful of pickpockets, although I have never been a victim here.

Room Tip:

404 has a good view of Pedro Gil street, and its denizens. The street always is busy with human drama.

Very nice place to stay. Friendly staff, good prices, and there is a mall next door if you need to pick up something. The free meal is nice and had both breakfast and lunch included. The restaurant has great food as well, but if you order one of the family meals, make sure you have a big family as it is a lot of food. If you don't enjoy crowds then you may not be happy going outside, but it is nice to see the hustle and bustle of Manila.

“A great Hotel convenient to tourists"

A hotel well known to tourists in Kuala Lumpur as its name has been well advertised in MATTA FAIR. Not only famous for its fair and reasonal price, it is affordable to tourists who wish to travel by "free and easy" tour in Manila. The Hotel Room is clean and spacious. Moreover, the front desk/counter staff are polite and willing to listen and offer client's assistance upon request. Its location is positioned with MRT station nearby, and shopping mall, such as Robinsons supermarket with varieties of both western and chinese food stalls located in the Mall. It is indeed convenient and, in terms of transport, it is easily accessible both by taxi and "jeepney" - the cheapest means of transport found in Manila.
The Hotel's locality is unique, in the sense that should you want to go for "shopping spree", then you can either go to Shopping Mall (Robinsons) or take a "Jeepney" to China Town where the textile goods are sold very cheaply ranging from 50-200 pesos. For those travellers who are interested to take "stroll around" in Rizal Park
and Ocean Park, they are all located within walking distance from the Hotel.

"Awesome Place"

I returned to this hotel reuniting with my wife after not seen her for more than 5 months so I requested a romantic setting in the Executive Suite a month prior when booking our room. Staff were very professional/welcoming upon our arrival. We loved the rose pedals including the bottle of champagne and candles. I was amazed at the professionalism and politeness of every staff member. The manager was fantastic as well as very courteous. As soon as I mentioned my name at front desk he got up straight away to assist me and take me to the room for a viewing session. Front desk were very discreet when paying the bill so my wife had no idea what she was in for. I recommend this hotel to anyone. I payed $5,500PHP per night for the Executive Suite and stayed there for two nights and an extra $2000PHP for the romantic setting. Thank you so much Kimberly Hotel Ermita. You guys are awesome. See you again soon.

Great Location, nice and clean hotel

Location is at the heart of Malate. 5 minute walk to Robinson Mall. Also 2 minute walk to Pedro Gill LRT Station. Room is clean and good service. Breakfast is simple but average.

Superb Service and Great Location

Kimberly Manila is located with the amenities. Near the Robinson Shopping mall, LRT and 30mins from the airport. Hotel room is cleaned, the service staff are also friendly and helpful. The only short fall is the buffet breakfast which they do not have a variety spread on the buffet breakfast. But the room service menu offered a much more succulent food. They even have massage service available up to your room at a very reasonable rate. As a whole my stay at Hotel Kimberly Manila is pleasant and perfect, they met all my basic minimum needs:(1)reasonably good room rate (2)early check-in with no extra charge (3)good amenities (4)come with mini fridge (5)availability of room service (6)clean lobby, clean room with friendly & helpful service staff

"Great location, good value"

Located right in the heart of Ermita, the closest hotel to Robinson's mall and surrounds. Short walk to MRT station and UP campus opposite. Standard rooms for the area. Good value given location.

Airconditioning extremely powerful in the rooms, perhaps a little too strong given close proximity to foot of bed.

Buffet breakfast leaves a little to be desired, although lots of good places to eat nearby.

Excellent service from bellboy, flagged down a cab, brought out our luggage and held and umbrella for us during heavy rains and floods.

Big room with friendly staff.

What can i say about this hotel. Each time i'm in Malate i will definitely stay here. Its great location near the Pedro Gil LRT station is great for the traveller who wants to move around besides using the taxi. The hotel provides great service with the following: complimentary mineral water, daily newspaper, free wifi connection and even bedroom slippers. more important there is a safety deposit box in the room. Hotel Kimberly is definely value for money.

Great Location, Early Check-in!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in the hotel and it was great that they allow early check-in. We arrived at around 730AM and they allowed us to check-in at no extra cost! What I love about the hotel is its just a few steps from Robinson's Place Mall where you could get anything. 7-eleven and Mini Stop are on every block, there are also nearby fastfood retaurants (Jollibee, Sinangag Express). The nightlife is great since its just a few blocks away from the bars and restaurants of Malate. LRT is also accessible, just 1-2 blocks away so you could go anywhere in Manila from there. The free breakfast is also good, with assortments of Filipino and western food, but there were few choices now than back when we first stayed. The room service menu is also good since they have an in-house restaurant (Cafe K). If ever I'll be staying again in Manila, I'll be sure to be back in Hotel Kimberly!

great location for my errands, rooms big enough

I like the room in particular, was surprised it was that big, bigger even than a 4 or even a 5 star hotel i stayed in a business district.. service and food, not that bad for a small hotel like this.. staff are friendly..it was thru internet that i get to see this hotel, as i was looking for a place to stay near the school im going to check for my daughter.. I just dont favor so much that they get the keys of my car after i parked, and yes,the parking lot is not that big tho its ok,anyway most are walk in without cars, so i had a space for my car..

Best Hotel in Malate

Wonderful stay as always, the best hotel in Malate and i have tried them all. Restaurant food is of high standard, as is the service from all the staff. The new renovations in the restaurant look amazing, well done. Book in advance!! this Hotel's popularity is growing since the recent renovations and the rooms sell out quickly.
